Under the loving care of Ms. Rowena, Discovery Tots – Wildwood provides a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Her licensed family dayhome is thoughtfully arranged with dedicated indoor learning and play zones, and direct access to a large, fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor exploration year-round.

Conveniently located in the heart of Wildwood, just off Bow Trail SW, families enjoy easy curbside pickup and drop-off. The neighborhood is surrounded by local parks, schools, and community amenities that make it especially family-friendly.

Licensed to care for up to six children at a time, Ms. Rowena ensures small group sizes and plenty of one-on-one attention. Each day includes a balance of structured and free play, featuring educational activities from the Discovery Tots curriculum, storytime, crafts, music, and age-appropriate games. Outdoor play is built into the daily routine, weather permitting, and often includes building, role-play, puzzles, and imaginative games.

Enrichment opportunities such as the Puppy Program and Music Time help children build empathy, rhythm, and social skills in fun and engaging ways.

Ms. Rowena’s dayhome offers a calm, caring, and consistent environment designed to support children’s early development—while giving parents peace of mind.

I opened Discovery Tots Dayhome Wildwood because of my passion for working with children and my desire to create a safe, happy, and nurturing environment where they can learn and grow. With 23 years of experience in childcare—including 10 years in Hong Kong and 13 years in Canada—and a Level 1 certification, I bring a wealth of knowledge and care to every child I support.

My dayhome is special because it offers a personalized, home-like environment where children feel safe and comfortable. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are thoughtfully designed with safety in mind, including childproofed areas and secure outdoor spaces. I encourage curiosity and creativity through activities like painting, building with natural materials, and learning through play.

What I love most about working with children is how they help me see the world from a new perspective. I enjoy teaching and learning alongside them, and I find it incredibly rewarding to watch them grow and develop.

A little about me: I love music and play, and I enjoy singing and engaging in fun activities with the children. I bring energy and creativity into each day, making learning enjoyable and meaningful.
