Under the loving care of Ms. Anabel, Discovery Tots – Montgomery provides a warm, structured, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Her licensed family dayhome is thoughtfully arranged with dedicated indoor learning and play spaces, along with direct access to a large, fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor exploration year-round.

Conveniently located in the heart of Montgomery, just off Home Road NW, families benefit from easy curbside pickup and drop-off. Nearby parks, schools, and community amenities make this neighborhood especially family-friendly.
Licensed to care for up to six registered children at a time, Ms. Anabel ensures small group sizes and personalized attention. Each day is balanced with structured learning and free play, including activities from the Discovery Tots curriculum, storytime, crafts, music, outdoor play, and imaginative games such as building, puzzles, and role-play.

Enrichment opportunities such as the Puppy Program and Music Time with our in-house music teacher give children the chance to develop empathy, rhythm, creativity, and social skills in engaging ways.
Above all, Ms. Anabel’s dayhome provides a calm, caring, and consistent environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired—and where parents have peace of mind knowing their little ones are in loving hands.

I opened Discovery Tots Montgomery in March 2020 to create a warm, nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow with confidence. With over five years of experience in the child care industry and a Level 3 Early Childhood Education certification, I am passionate about supporting children’s development through curiosity, creativity, and meaningful connection.

My dayhome is designed to feel like a second home—a welcoming, personalized space where every child receives care and attention tailored to their individual needs. I focus on building strong relationships, fostering creativity, and providing a structured yet joyful atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore the world around them.

What I love most about working with children is their endless curiosity and unfiltered joy. Seeing the world through their eyes is a constant reminder to slow down and appreciate life’s simple moments. It’s incredibly rewarding to guide them as they grow, learn, and discover new things each day.

A little about me: I have a deep love for storytelling and often bring that passion into my dayhome. I enjoy creating fun, imaginative tales with the children—encouraging them to help shape the story with their ideas and creativity. It’s a wonderful way to spark their imagination (and yes, I’m known to throw in a silly accent or two to keep things extra fun!).

One of my favourite quotes about early childhood education is from Fred Rogers:
“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning.”
I truly believe that play is the foundation of all learning. Through it, children develop problem-solving skills, social awareness, creativity, and emotional intelligence—all while having fun.
