Under the loving care of Ms. Paulita, Discovery Tots – Killarney provides a warm, structured, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Her licensed family dayhome is thoughtfully arranged with dedicated indoor learning and play zones, and direct access to a large, fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor exploration year-round.

Conveniently located in the heart of Killarney, just off 37th Street SW, families benefit from easy curbside pickup and drop-off. The neighborhood is surrounded by local parks, schools, and community amenities that make it especially family-friendly.

Licensed to care for up to six children at a time, Ms. Paulita ensures small group sizes and plenty of one-on-one attention. Each day offers a balance of structured and free play, including educational activities from the Discovery Tots curriculum, storytime, crafts, music, and age-appropriate games. Outdoor time is built into the daily routine, weather permitting, and free play often includes building, role-play, puzzles, and imaginative games.

Enrichment opportunities such as the Puppy Program and Music Time give children the chance to develop empathy, rhythm, creativity, and social skills in fun, engaging ways.

I opened my Discovery Tots dayhome during COVID, when I found myself at home and inspired to create a space where children could feel safe, cared for, and supported. With 8 years of experience in childcare and a Level 1 certification, I provide a warm and welcoming environment where children are treated like family.

My dayhome is special because of its convenient location, close to schools, making it an ideal and accessible choice for families. I’ve also created a comfortable and positive environment where children can feel at ease and enjoy their day.

What I love most about working with children is the joy they bring into each day. They are my happiness, and I care for them as if they were my own, building strong bonds and creating a sense of trust and belonging.

A little about me: I am passionate and loving, and I bring that energy into everything I do. I believe in creating a nurturing space where children feel supported, valued, and truly cared for.
