I started my dayhome because I’m passionate about early childhood education and wanted to create a space where children feel safe, supported, and free to explore who they are. With over six years of experience and an Alberta Level 3 ECE certification, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings—including an art museum’s children’s department in Korea—and I bring that creativity and care into everything I do.

My dayhome blends a cozy, home-like atmosphere with meaningful learning experiences inspired by Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Alberta’s FLIGHT framework. I believe young children thrive when they feel seen and heard, and I tailor activities to support their social, emotional, and communication development—while having lots of fun along the way!

What I love most about this work is watching children grow into themselves. It’s incredibly rewarding to see their confidence build as they learn to express their feelings, make new friends, and try new things. I use gentle guidance, redirection, and clear communication to help them build emotional awareness and develop social skills.

Learning in my home is full of wonder—through art, sensory play, and hands-on exploration, I aim to make everyday moments magical. I truly believe the early years lay the foundation for a child’s entire life, and I’m honored to be a part of that journey with your family.

One quote I love says it perfectly:
“The first five years have so much to do with how the next 80 turn out.” — Bill Gates Sr.
