I started Discovery Tots Dayhome – Auburn Bay so I could stay close to my own children while doing what I love most: caring for and nurturing little ones.

I hold a Level 1 Early Childhood Education certification and have been involved with kids since 2018 through my volunteer work as a Sunday School teacher in our church’s Kids Ministry. While I may be new to the professional child care field, my heart and hands have been in this space for many years.

What makes my dayhome special is the family behind it. Discovery Tots – Auburn Bay is a true home away from home where children are treated like part of the family. With a smaller group, I can give each child individual attention and create a safe, loving environment where they feel comfortable to learn, explore, and grow. Our days are filled with connection, creativity, and moments that help build confidence and joy.

What I love most about working with children is their natural curiosity and the joy they bring into everyday life. Watching them grow, learn something new, or light up with excitement inspires me daily. Their honesty, wonder, and creativity remind me to stay present and playful as I guide them with patience and care.

A little about me: I love the outdoors, things like camping, trail walks, and anything that gets me out in nature.

And I’ll admit it: I usually prefer chatting with kids over adults! Their energy, imagination, and stories are the best part of my day.
