We've been with Ms. Jaci's Discovery Tots day home in Dalhousie coming up to cumulatively 3.5 years now, both my son and now my daughter were and are under her care. I can only say great things! Prior to coming to DTD, my son had been in a very poorly managed daycare for nearly a year, where the entire time he was there he was becoming increasingly shy, closed off and quiet. Only a couple months after switching him over to Ms. Jaci's dayhome, he started noticeably blossoming!! He quickly started talking more, playing with friends, laughing and happily sharing with us about his adventures at dayhome. Ms. Jaci's love for the kids in her care is very apparent, she treats them as her own, lovingly instructs them to be good people, makes very delicious healthy foods, always brings them outdoors to play, prepares engaging activities and crafts, and also works hard to continue developing her credentials as a child care professional. She is great at communicating whenever I have questions! We trust her highly, and have placed our daughter in her care as well. We are incredibly sad to be saying goodbye this year as our daughter heads off to pre-school in the Fall, but I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend Ms. Jaci and DTD.
